Coco Mademoiselle Review

Coco Mademoiselle Review

Confession, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is a fragrance I usually wear in the spring. Come June, she is rotated into her home at the back of the shelf. However, this August I found myself reaching for her over and over again.

What Does Coco Mademoiselle Smell Like?

The bright, sparkling notes of bergamot and citrus mixed with florals feels uplifting. The smell of your optimistic alter-ego, who always has it together. This contrasts the soft dry down of patchouli and vanilla, which wear beautifully throughout the day.

One thing we love about Coco Mademoiselle's base notes are how they never lean overly earthy or too sweet. The vanilla and patchouli are in perfect harmony with one another and transform the longer they sit on your skin. The way this perfume smells at 10am is completely different to how it reads at 3pm or even 6pm.

The Notes in Coco Mademoiselle

Top: Bergamot, lemon, mandarin orange
Heart: Rose, jasmine, orange blossom, mimosa
Base: Patchouli, vetiver, vanilla, cedarwood, white musk, tonka bean

Unsure if patchouli is for you? On its own it can be earthy, but there is just enough in Ms Mademoiselle to give the base a warm dry down. No 70s headshop or shag carpet here!

Who Is Coco Mademoiselle Best For?

if you're searching for a sophisticated and chic signature scent, one that can truly be made yours, Coco Mademoiselle is your lady. She's just recognizable enough, polished, and is ever-changing, every wearer makes her a little bit theirs. She wears beautifully on everyone, at any age, and feels appropriate in most settings - yet she's never at risk of becoming boring. If you've been clinging to the same fragrance for years or are itching to try something new, this is the perfect spot to land.

Try Coco Mademoiselle For Yourself

We recommend trying a decant of Coco Mademoiselle to experience her for yourself! Coco Mademoiselle is a perfume that develops to slowly reveal herself over time. It's worth waiting for the dry down before you make up your mind.

Unsure? We recommend starting with a 3ml Chanel decant if you're new to florals and chypres or a 5ml travel spray if you're an existing Chanel or florals fan.
